Motorama is a Russian post-punk band heading from Rostov-on-Don. The band was formed in 2005 and received popularity not only in Russia but also abroad, especially in Europe, Latin America and Asia. The fifth album “Many Nights” was released in September 2018 followed by the launch of their own label I’m Home Records early 2020.

De Ambassade (NL)
Distant, cold songs about lost love with a distinct experimental sound and haunting hollow Dutch vocals soaked in reverb make each of their songs instantly identifiable as De Ambassade.
After the unannounced release of their first single, the group was shrouded in mystery while the Dutch scene was demanding for more releases to its likeness. A shadow play set against a smokescreen decor with vintage synths, creating a grimm atmosphere invoking feelings of emptiness, dystopia that feels peculiarly comfortable.

Since moving from Columbia, South Carolina, to Atlanta, Georgia in 2014, the artist and producer better known as Pi’erre Bourne has completed what seems like a lifetime’s music industry experience. He’s finished an engineering program, created “portable studios” to record artists for some extra cash, interned at Hustle Gang, engineered for Epic Records, quit engineering for Epic Records, become the go-to producer for rising Atlanta rap talent Young Nudy (who happens to be 21 Savage’s cousin), and, most notably, served as the secret sauce to Playboi Carti’s self-titled debut mixtape, producing six of the tape’s 15 tracks, including the monumental hide-it-in-my-sock anthem “Magnolia.” And somehow, in-between all of this and more, he’s recorded and released his own solo projects: three tapes in his The Life Of Pi’erre series on which he demonstrates his melodic deftness, lacing sung bars in and out of his own space-y and sparse, neon-chord blotted production that makes you feel like you’re speeding down the Milky Way. On March 14th 2021, Pi’erre Bourne has received his first Grammy Award for his work on Kanye West’s album “Jesus Is King”.

Christian Löffler, a prolific musician and producer, has always been driven by a desire to be creative through unique ambiences. The self-taught electronic composer began creating music at the ripe age of 14, spending subsequent years developing and perfecting deep and moving sounds that produce music for the body and for the soul. Combining euphoria with introspection, he has become known for a highly emotive sound that uses deep house as its stylistic framework. Influenced by light, wide-open spaces, nature and an exploration of the concept of getting lost; he blends wistful melodies, drum machines, and found sound into a wandering, melancholic mélange. The result is slow-burn, warm minimal techno. Sincere and organic, it is also spacious and fantastic. His music is a concentration of essentials.

Nicolas Demuth, better known as Parra for Cuva, is a wildly talented young musician born in Cologne. He has developed an artistic and musical individuality not common in the indistinguishable mass of the electronic music scene.
Indulging in his relentless fascination for sound and harmony, Nicolas commenced his quest for music at a very young age. Starting with classical piano and taking stops in Jazz, Pop and Indie music, the young artist soon developed a strong passion for electronic music that made him leave the countryside and move to big and creative Berlin. Using musical instruments, synthesizers and digital music editing, the audio designer masters the art of creating intelligent, intertwined music pieces from melodies, soft beats and sounds that he records in daily life. His personal catalogue has steadily shaped into a collection of slow, well-mended and melody-laden electronica that lets one’s heart and soul dance side by side with body and brain.

Mary Lattimore at the National Observatory

Sensational contemporary harpist, Mary Lattimore, is coming to Athens with her gentle ambience for a unique dreamscape show on the 3rd August 2021 at the National Observatory.
The performance of Mary Lattimore will take place in front of the historical Sinas building of the National Observatory of Athens, founded in 1846 and situated on the sacred hill of the Nymphs.
During the evening the summer constellations, such as Lyra, Cygnus and Scorpio, will be visible on the celestial sphere and the planets Saturn and Jupiter could be observed at the eastern horizon.
The concert will be followed by stargazing with the refractor telescope Doridis, established in 1902 and located on the hill of Pnyx, with a wonderful view of the Acropolis.
Mary Lattimore is a harpist living in Los Angeles. She experiments with her Lyon and Healy Concert Grand harp and effects. Her solo debut, The Withdrawing Room, was released in 2013 on Desire Path Recordings. Lattimore also writes harp parts for songs and recordings, performing and recording with such great artists as Meg Baird, Thurston Moore, Sharon Van Etten, Jarvis Cocker, Kurt Vile, Steve Gunn, Ed Askew and Fursaxa.
Her 2014 record Slant of Light with guitarist/synth player/producer Jeff Zeigler was released by Thrill Jockey, which was followed by the two collaborating on a track for Ghostly Swim 2. Mary and Jeff also composed a score to Philippe Garrels 1968 experimental silent film Le Revelateur, and debuted it in Marfa, Texas along with the film. Her debut solo record for Ghostly International, At The Dam, was recorded during stops along a road trip across America and released in March 2016.
The next year, she compiled sounds from her past life in Philadelphia for a cassette tape titled Collected Pieces. Following an appearance at Moogfest, she was invited by Sigur Ros to perform at their festival, Norður og niður, in Iceland. During a break from those events, she was awarded a residency at the Headlands Center for the Arts in San Francisco, where she recorded Hundreds of Days.
Released in May 2018 to acclaim from the likes of NPR, Pitchfork, and The New Yorker, Hundreds of Days presented an expression of mystified gratitude for the natural world. She capped off the banner year — which included international tours with Iceage and Kurt Vile, a performance with Harold Budd at Big Ears Festival, and an appearance on Billboard’s New Age charts — with two collaborative albums released on Three Lobed Recordings, one with Meg Baird and the other with Mac McCaughan. In January 2019, she shared Hundreds of Days Remixes, a collection featuring reworks by Steve Moore, Jónsi, Julianna Barwick, Alex Somers, Paul Corley, and others.
Silver Ladders, her third LP on Ghostly, sees Lattimore arriving at her most confident work to date, expanding her style of instrumental storytelling with the help of producer and guitarist Neil Halstead (Slowdive, Mojave 3). Recorded in Halstead’s studio near an old English surftown just before lockdown, the songs on Silver Ladders reflect Lattimore’s vivid memories against the gloom and glimmer of the ocean.

Max Cooper will bring a fusion of art, science and music. For the first time ever, pulsing electronica to knife-edge techno will blast through the historic walls of the Ancient Theater, while hypnotic optics are being projected on this iconic background as part of the Athens Epidaurus Festival 2021.

Few have been so successful in interrogating and furthering the intersection between electronic music, visual art, technology and science in the past decade as Max Cooper. Working with collaborators and large-scale institutions like the Barbican, Zaha Hadid Architects and Dolby Atmos, Cooper has developed a mixed-media approach to creation. Whether walk-through light installations, groundbreaking use of 4D sound, or club-ready techno releases, Cooper’s output of electronic exploration makes use of available technology while referencing that which came before it, and does so in a human way.

Synthesising his interests and presenting it in an accessible way that defies conventional format, Cooper explores concepts of emergence, identity and infinity to create an immersion of sound, vision and concept that can totally remove you from your normal experience of reality and put you somewhere new. At the core, Max Cooper’s mission as a musician, a DJ and an interdisciplinary artist is all about provoking a greater understanding.

Λάμπρος Φισφής “Αυτά Είναι”

Ο Λάμπρος Φισφής, από τους καλύτερους Έλληνες stand up comedians, στο μεγαλύτερο εγχείρημα της καριέρας του την Δευτέρα 6 Ιουνίου 2022 στο Κλειστό Γήπεδο Φαλήρου με την πολυαναμενόμενη παράσταση «ΑΥΤΑ ΕΙΝΑΙ».

Την Δευτέρα 6 Ιουνίου 2022, ο ξεχωριστός Λάμπρος Φισφής θα συνεχίσει δυναμικά την επιτυχημένη πορεία του στο stand up με ένα ακόμη πλούσιο και απολαυστικό show αναλύοντας όλα αυτά που συνωμοτούν εναντίον της ευτυχίας, αυτοσαρκαζόμενος για τις αδυναμίες του και δίνοντας για άλλη μια φορά το δικό του ξεχωριστό στίγμα για όλα αυτά που συμβαίνουν. Με την παράσταση «Αυτά Είναι», ο Λάμπρος Φισφής συγκεντρώνει νέα κείμενα, τα all time classics, τον signature αυτοσχεδιασμό του και γενικά ό,τι αστείο έχει και δεν έχει από τη δεκαετή θητεία του στο stand up comedy.

Το Κλειστό Γήπεδο Φαλήρου γίνεται το δημιουργικό πεδίο, όπου ο γνωστός κωμικός θα ξεδιπλώσει ένα από τα πιο ευφάνταστα και διαφορετικά κωμικά εγχειρήματα, σε σχέση με ότι μας έχει συνηθίσει, πάντα έτοιμος να τολμήσει κάτι καινούργιο και να κατευθύνει το stand up σε νέα μονοπάτια. Στο πλαίσιο αυτό εντάσσεται και η νέα του πρόκληση: η μεταφορά του stand up comedy από τα μικρά μπαράκια σε μεγάλες θεατρικές σκηνές και τέλος σε ένα στάδιο όπως το Κλειστό Γήπεδο Φαλήρου χωρητικότητας 6000 ατόμων. Ένα μοναδικό one man show με στόχο να δημιουργηθεί για μια βραδιά η μεγαλύτερη δυνατή παρέα προσφέροντας ένα απολαυστικό δίωρο άφθονου γέλιου. Σε κάθε περίπτωση, είναι πλέον δεδομένο ότι κάθε νέο του εγχείρημα το αναμένουμε με ανυπομονησία ως το επόμενο δυνάμει κωμικό αριστούργημα. Αν πάλι θέλαμε να υποδείξουμε έναν χαρακτηριστικό εκπρόσωπο του σύγχρονου stand up comedy, που δουλεύει ακατάπαυστα για να αναδείξει το είδος, θα οδηγούμασταν αβίαστα στον Λάμπρο Φισφή.

Κωμικός, παρουσιαστής, σεναριογράφος και συγγραφέας, ο Λάμπρος Φισφής καταφέρνει, όσο λίγοι άνθρωποι στο χώρο, να μας εκπλήσσει ευχάριστα με κάθε νέα του δουλειά, με συνεχόμενα sold out όπου και να εμφανίζεται έχοντας πάντα κάτι καινούργιο να μας πει που δεν αφήνει κανέναν αδιάφορο. Η σκηνική του παρουσία ξεπερνάει αδιαμφισβήτητα κατά πολύ τον χαρακτηρισμό απολαυστική, διαθέτει πολυμορφία και εμπεριέχει στοιχεία κωμικής διάνοιας. Η δεξιοτεχνία του να «πιάνει» τον παλμό του κόσμου και τις αντιδράσεις εύκολα και η ευστοχία στον αυτοσχεδιασμό είναι αξιοσημείωτες αλλά και το χαρακτηριστικό του γνώρισμα στη σκηνική του συμπεριφορά.

Στο ενεργητικό του διαθέτει τρία επιτυχημένα stand up comedy solo shows όπως τα «Να ένας Σοφός», «Δες το Θετικό» και «Να το Φως». Είναι δημιουργός και παρουσιαστής του τηλεοπτικού comedy show «Κάψε το Σενάριο», των επιτυχιών «Big Talk» και «Small Talk» του YouTube καθώς και του late night talk show «Βραδινές Ιστορίες». Μεταξύ άλλων, είναι ιδρυτής και καλλιτεχνικός διευθυντής του μεγαλύτερου ελληνικού φεστιβάλ κωμωδίας, του «Αthens Comedy Festival».

Russell Kane (UK)
Multi-award-winning comedian, presenter, actor, author and scriptwriter Russell Kane is best known for his stand-up, panel show and chat show appearances. Currently, he has two top-ten hits – with his BBC Radio 4 show Evil Genius, and his podcast Man Baggage. You will also have seen him doing funnies every week on Channel 4’s Steph’s Packed Lunch throughout the last year.

Previously he’s hosted the BBC’s Stupid Man, Smart Phone and Live At The Electric. Other TV appearances include The Royal Variety Performance, BBC One’s Live At The Apollo, BBC Three’s Unzipped, and ITV 2’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here Now.

Winner of Best Show at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, Russell went on to make history as the first comedian to win both the Edinburgh Award and Melbourne Comedy Festival’s Barry Award in one year.

He has published two books. One fiction, and one banging on about himself and his Dad called “Son of a Silverback”.

Thomas Zampras has been active in comedy for 8 years. During this time he wrote and performed two solo stand up performances. He also co-created and appeared on the TV show Cinelthete, was the head writer in the TV Show Apopse Mono, wrote screenplays and starred in major advertising campaigns, was a guest columnist at 24media and performed sold out stand up tours throughout Greece and Europe.

In this new show, Strictly Come Dancing’s newest star tries to see a way through the weird unreality of our new world. Tracing lines through chaotic moments in our past, Bill seeks out parallels where human resilience and our ability to endure has got us through times of strife.

Bill Bailey is perhaps Britain’s most beloved comedian. The wonderful musical comedian – he has been dubbed both ‘comedian Mozart’ and ‘comedian Mike Oldfield’ – has toured with his acclaimed performance “Larks in Transit” in the UK since last winter. In the spring, he will come up with new performances with his travel stories from twenty years of touring.
