Liza Treyger likes the late 90s/early 2000’s pop and soul music. She enjoys collaging, shopping, walking around NYC, private pools, chatting with friends and fighting with enemies, but mostly spending money, telling jokes, and giggling with girlfriends.
Currently based in New York, the upcoming comedienne is doing stand-up six or seven nights a week at New York’s top comedy clubs. In her shows, she talks, among others, a lot about alcohol, weed and sex. In between jokes, she skillfully addresses social issues such as sexism, feminism and sexual education making the audience wonder whether they should laugh or not.
In her direct, raunchy, raw monologues she doesn’t miss out talking about herself telling jokes about her past relationships, sexual experiences and her Jewish heritage. The Chicago stand up comedienne, Natalie Jose has said about Treyger, “Liza is honest and straightforward without any sugarcoating. Her comedy is sneaky-smart.”
Liza Treyger has headlined at Caroline’s on Broadway and has also performed at the Green Mountain Comedy Fest and the Just For Laughs Festival. She has also participated in the Netflix series “The Degenerates” with a 30-minute special show as well as appeared on the Louis C.K. miniseries, Horace and Pete. She also has her own comedy Central half hour album, Glittercheese. She has appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Chelsea Lately, @Midnight, This is Not Happening, Not Safe with Nikki Glaser, Adam Devine’s House Party, and Lie Detectors.
