William Basinski is an important producer of ambient music. The classically trained musician has been working with experimental media for over 30 years.

The basis for his most recently released album “Lamentations” (2020) is provided by old tape loops. Relics from the 70s and 80s, which Basinski himself recorded in Brooklyn and puts into a present context.
