Award-winning comedian Iliza Shlesinger is coming to Athens this September and promises a great night of comedy!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Iliza Shlesinger has cemented herself as one of the world\u2019s premiere stand-up comedians. On March 11th, Shlesinger will release her 7th special,\u00a0Iliza Shlesinger: A Different Animal,<\/i>\u00a0globally on Amazon Prime Video. An explosive and relentlessly funny hour, Iliza covers everything from shower sex, ugly wives and the ideal man to the truth about the ONE thing no woman wants as nothing is off limits. The special was filmed this past fall at the Eccles Theater in Salt Lake City.<\/p>\n

To date, Shlesinger has six Netflix specials including her 2022\u2019s\u00a0Hot Forever.<\/i>\u00a0Her other Netflix specials include\u00a0Unveiled, War Paint,<\/i>\u00a0Freezing Hot, Confirmed Kills<\/i>, and\u00a0Elder Millennial.<\/i>\u00a0In 2019, Shlesinger released\u00a0Iliza Shlesinger: Over & Over<\/i>, her \u201cfan-u-mentary,\u201d which gave fans an inside look into what goes into the making of one of her specials. This behind the scenes showcased many elements of Shlesinger\u2019s creative process and was a tribute to a fan base who show their loyalty by creating their own Iliza inspired swag to wear to her shows.<\/p>\n

In addition to her stand-up, Iliza has appeared on the big and small screen. She wrote, executive produced, and starred in the romantic comedy film,\u00a0Good On Paper<\/i>, which was based on Iliza\u2019s own dating experience, and is streaming on Netflix. Shlesinger also starred opposite Mark Wahlberg in Netflix\u2019s Spenser Confidential, directed by Peter Berg. In 2023, She played Shay Marigold in the popular MAX series,\u00a0The Righteous Gemstones<\/i>. In 2020, she co-starred along with Shia Labeouf and Vanessa Kirby in the indie feature\u00a0Pieces of a Woman<\/i>\u00a0and premiered\u00a0The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch Show<\/i>\u00a0on Netflix. In 2018, she co-starred in\u00a0Instant Family,<\/i>\u00a0starring Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne.
